Your tasks:
- You will be responsible for managing and developing 3 department heads (Product Management Ground Support Equipment, Service Portfolio Management and Industrialization, each with 3-10 employees) and 2 Program Managers for Airframe Tooling. There are currently 22 employees to manage in Germany, France, the UK and the USA.
- You derive the product and service strategy from the company's growth and business objectives, develop specifications for their implementation throughout the entire product life cycle and coordinate internal resources
- You proactively promote the loyalty and satisfaction of our customers and build strong customer relationships
- In cooperation with Sales, you will analyze the market in terms of customer needs, contract requirements and competitor products. You act in an innovation-oriented manner, work out the requirements for the development of new products and are responsible for validation
- You are responsible for the pricing strategy, continuously monitor and report on product sales and profitability and initiate targeted measures in the event of deviations from plan
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed a technical or alternatively an economics degree with experience in the mechanical field or comparable qualifications
- You have at least 10 years of management experience in international, technical product management or sales and are confident in international organizational structures
- You have a good understanding of the aviation industry and know the aviation documentation (AMM/EM) and guidelines from several years of experience
- You have strong communication skills and a high level of customer and results orientation
- You are confident in using an ERP system, ideally SAP
- You are fluent in German and English and have strong intercultural skills
