As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a key role in our international sales of sophisticated, customized solutions for the aviation industry. Working closely with leading OEMs and MRO companies, you will strategically manage and develop existing customer relationships and actively contribute to expanding our market position. In doing so, you will combine technical understanding with sales expertise, interact confidently with decision-makers, and serve as a key liaison between customers and internal departments. Your tasks:

  • You sell customized solutions for the manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance of aircraft, aircraft components, and engines, and are well-established with the leading OEMs in the aviation industry (Airbus, Boeing, Rolls-Royce, General Electric, Safran, etc.) as well as major Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facilities
  • You will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships while taking into account technical and economic conditions, with the goal of enhancing customer satisfaction, and will visit your assigned customers on a regular basis
  • You are accustomed to providing in-depth support to customers and understand the needs of various markets; you can discuss potential improvements with our customers and clearly explain and demonstrate the benefits to them
  • You negotiate complex contracts and conduct deal approvals with senior executives
  • You serve as the link between the customer and our internal teams, particularly the inside sales / customer support team, product management, and product development. In addition, you maintain our Salesforce CRM system and provide regular reports to management

Your profile:

  • You hold a degree in engineering or business administration, or have acquired similar practical experience
  • You have several years of professional experience in sales, ideally within the aerospace industry
  • You have strong networking skills, a confident demeanor, and intercultural negotiation skills
  • You see yourself as a self-starter who is accustomed to achieving results through a high degree of self-motivation
  • You are customer-focused, enjoy traveling, and stand out for your analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as your high level of reliability
  • You stand out thanks to your exceptional communication skills and fluency in both spoken and written German and English
